My Journey to Sound Roots Photography
Twelve years ago, I traded the sunny skies of California for the lush landscapes of West Seattle. Now, alongside a union electrician husband, a ten-year-old son, an almost six-year-old daughter, and a playful black lab/beagle mix, I've found my rhythm and roots. My past life as an elementary school educator, especially the many years spent in Kindergarten, equipped me with the ability to engage young children and families effortlessly during photo sessions. My colleagues know me as someone always ready to lend a helping hand, a trait that transcends into my photography venture as well. I treasure documenting life and aiding others in preserving these fleeting moments before they fade from our memories.

A perfect day for me involves sitting around a fire, drinking chai tea, listening to the sounds of the ocean and some uptempo music, wrapped by the warmth of a cozy blanket, while diffusing essential oils and belly laughing from something one of my kids just did or another family member just said. A perfect day for me also could involve sitting around a pool with friends, soaking up sunshine, drinking margaritas and eating taco after taco and getting to lick the bowl of guacamole.
