This is a time of life to remember in as much details as possible. Thankfully gone are the days of stiff and stuffy studio sessions with uncomfortable clothing and irritated family members. Instead, a family photo session can now be completely relaxed, easy going, and casual where everyone dresses comfortably and ends a session feeling like they just had the most fun and connected quality time together. You deserve to look back on this phase of life and be a part of your families story too.
That might mean:
- reading books together and playing in your backyard
- having a dance party, baking cupcakes, and playing dress up
- hiking your nearby park and playing at the playground
- having a tickle fight and going to get ice cream cones or hot cocoa
- exploring at low tide and walking to a little lending library
- blowing bubbles outside and doing arts and crafts
Worried about the state of your home? Don't be. You deserve to have beautiful memories of your family in this phase of your life regardless of what clutter may lie around your house or what state the walls are in or what phase of a remodel you are living in.
Worried about doing a session indoors? Don't be. You can stay in your yard, on your front porch, or even visit a significant to you nearby location.
This is a documentary style session documenting you and your favorite people doing your favorite things at home and in your neighborhood. Sessions are 1-1.5 hours depending on the locations and activities of your favorite location. Outdoor locations might be your backyard/property or a nearby park or beach.

What if my children do not cooperate?

Can Our Pet participate?
Absolutely! Whether your pet joins for a few key photos at the beginning or the end, or you would like them to be present during the whole session is really up to you. Pets are family!
If you have a pet and don't feel like bringing them for photos, that's ok too!
Do you photograph extended families?
Absolutely! Cousins, grandparents, Aunts and Uncles are some of the most special relationships. Many families gift a session to a loved one for special occasions. I require pre-purchase of the Get Out of the Grey package, which includes all 80+ images for these sessions.
