Local West Seattle Women Owned Businesses Help Spoil my Motherhood Mini Session Mamas and Maybe YOU!

I am so forever grateful to know so many absolutely incredible local entrepreneurs. Inspired by Fit4Mom West Seattle, I really wanted to do something special for the mamas who booked my Motherhood Mini Sessions. Once you become a mama, it is so rare that gifts are for you and not your kids! Moms are rock stars constantly caring for others and so I really wanted to give these moms a time to just be with their kids, capture it all for posterity, and also give them some goodies and treats to celebrate them as well. I put out a call to any local business and guess what y'all? The women delivered for the mamas! No surprise there. I'd love to introduce you to some awesome and absolutely kind local female entrepreneurs.

Jenny Ling, PLLC

When you think of lawyers, you usually don't think of kind, funny, and easy going people. But Jenny Ling is not just any lawyer. She also practices a type of law that is so absolutely under emphasized in our society. Jenny and her team focus on making sure your business and your family are taken care of, whether it be estate planning, small business advising, child protection planning, managing and litigating through the regulatory environment, real property investing or advising in times of financial distress. My husband and I have worked with Jenny to do our estate and family care planning and I absolutely endorse Jenny and the work she does.

Mama Be Well

Katie Englund is one friendly and inspiring human! She is a Reiki Healer and EFT Practitioner and her "motherhood journey has been a catalyst for an indescribable personal healing journey". Her own healing journey has led her to help others along their own sacred healing path. She offers energetic healing packages that I look forward to trying sometime soon!

Emerald City Threads

Stephanie Blair created Emerald City Threads, which is more than just a clothing line; it's a tribute to the rich tapestry of our local communities. believe in the power of clothing to tell stories. Each piece is infused with the essence of Pacific Northwest living, capturing the traditions, the sense of community, and the enduring spirit that defines our region. By wearing Emerald City Threads, you become part of a narrative that connects the past, present, and future of our vibrant communities.

I'm so excited to share with you a T-shirt of your choice from her clothing line!

Leesha Mony

Leesha's weekly newsletter is one of my absolute favorites to read. She is a Writer, a Mother Somatic Psychotherapist, a Matrescence Educator focusing on Birth Storytelling among many, many other things. I am forever grateful for the universe bringing us together for a branding session as I can now truly call her a friend. She is calm, kind, and such an inspiration. So grateful to her for her beautiful affirmation cards in this gift bag.

Fit4Mom West Seattle

I have been a huge fan of Fit4Mom for the last seven years since I started Stroller classes when my daughter was just six weeks old. It got me moving and gave me a community that I never had access to as a first time mom with my son. In those early days, I met this incredible mama, Lauren Campbell, now franchise owner of Fit4Mom West Seattle. Lauren is fun, easy going, kind and leads some of the best fitness instruction I've ever had. I am so grateful for her contribution to your bag and also especially to my life! (This image is definitely older, yet one of my absolute favorites!)

Just in Case: Disaster Preparedness Services

I first met the incredible Alice through the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce. She is an experienced real estate agent and has been helping friends and family prepare for the worst (while hoping for the best) since 1999. The information and checklists she shares on this website are a compilation of the best, most practical recommendations from local, regional and national experts in emergency preparedness. I can personally vouch for the fact that her systems are easy to manage and so completely helpful in getting a handle on emergency prepardness. She's so friendly, kind, and easy to work with.

Cozy Island Living

Sunny Schoepfer is the gem behind Cozy Island Living (she also works full time for the incredible Dillanos Coffee which grew from a tiny three-person outfit to a nationally recognized roaster with more than 1,500 wholesale locations serving Dillanos Coffee across the country, hence the coffee contribution)!

Cozy Island Living is your Vashon Island home away from home! Sunny has poured her heart into creating a comfortable and inviting space for you to unwind and create lasting memories. From cozy interiors to thoughtfully designed amenities, they have considered every detail to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Cozy Island is more than just a vacation rental; it's a testament to their passion for Vashon Island and the joy they find in sharing its wonder with others.

To share her love of Vashon, you'll receive a Pop Pop Bottle shop gift card and koozie as part of the giveaway.

West Seattle Pelvic Health and Physical Therapy

Dr. Laura Jewett brings over a decade of experience in treating orthopedic conditions to West Seattle Pelvic Health & PT. Her focus on the female pelvic floor, coupled with her background as a Stott Pilates instructor, allows her to offer comprehensive care. Laura and I have kids the same age and have connected for years through Fit4Mom, Barre3, West Seattle Little League, and school community events. I appreciate her so much!

That's me, Ali Vrbas! It is my joy and pleasure to help your family's authentic stories and relationships come to life, preserved for posterity through beautiful, real life imagery in an easy going way.
