Wondering What to do During a Spring Time Real Life Session?

Real Life sessions are documentary style that capture you and your favorite people doing your favorite things at home and in your neighborhood. Sessions are 1-2 hours depending on the locations and activities of your favorite location. Outdoor locations might be your backyard/property or a nearby park or beach.

If you are wondering what on earth to do during a spring session, I've come up with a list of activities you might incorporate into a session. But remember, these sessions are about what is typical or traditional to your specific family. If you aren't into art and messes in your house, let the kids do it at school and do some reading and snuggling together instead. Or maybe you all go out into your garden on weekends together in the spring, but you are not big on decorating for the holidays. That is awesome! You do you.

If you've been wanting to do a new activity with the kids, but haven't had the motivation to do it, maybe a real life session will help motivate you to do it. Otherwise, treat these sessions as opportunities to do routines and traditions that are special to your family.

It is easy to think that we aren't that unique or that our family is no different from the next, yet don't let that hold you back. I guarantee that even a simple neighborhood walk will be unique to your family and will not look exactly like someone else. Reading books or baking looks unique to each person and each family. You are important and you deserve to have proof of the special ways you are together in this phase of springtime life.
